Tucked away in the misty forests of Amboli lies a world that truly comes alive in monsoon. Join Wild Wentures on a 2-night, 3-day herping experience through one of the richest biodiversity hotspots of the Western Ghats, where every trail, stream, and leaf seems to hide something extraordinary.
From the venomous beauty of the Malabar Pit Viper to the elusive Aquatic Rhabdops, Amboli is full of surprises waiting to be discovered. Spot strange and stunning creatures like Prasad’s Gecko, Khaire’s Black Shieldtail, the iconic Malabar Gliding Frog, the critically endangered Amboli Tiger Toad, and the elusive Amboli Bush Frog, along with many other fascinating reptiles and amphibians found nowhere else.
Led by an experienced wildlife expert, the walks go beyond just sightings. Learn how to identify species, understand their behavior, and hear the stories behind the forests and the creatures that call them home.
With Wild Wentures taking care of your stay, meals, travel within Amboli, and guided sessions, all you need to do is step into the wild and keep your eyes open.

Exclusions
Camera Charges – Location specific camera fees are not included.
Personal Expenses – Extra meals, bottled water, soft drinks, or personal purchases are excluded.
Additional Trails – Any extra herp walks beyond the itinerary will be charged separately.
Travel to Amboli – Transport to and from Amboli is not included.
Medical Expenses – Any medical or emergency expenses incurred during the tour are not covered
Itinerary | 2 Nights - 3 Days
Day 1 — Arrival & First Night in the Wild
Arrive in Amboli by 1:00 PM and check into your stay. After settling in, enjoy a delicious lunch and get to know your fellow participants.
Following an evening tea break, we head out for ourfirst guided night herping trail, when Amboli’s forests begin toreveal their hidden nocturnal life.
The day concludes with dinnerand conversations about the evening’s sightings and experiences.
Day 2 — Exploring Amboli’s Hidden Wilderness
Begin the day with an early breakfast before setting out on a morning trail through Amboli’s lush forests and streams in search of its fascinating reptiles and amphibians.
After lunch, take sometime to relax before we venture out once again for evening andnight herping sessions.
With every trail offering something new,the forest always keeps you curious. Dinner will be served afterthe trail.
Day 3 — One Last Walk Through the Forest
On the final morning, enjoy breakfast before heading out for one last trail through the forests of Amboli.
After the walk, we return for lunch, share stories and memorable sightings from the trip, and prepare for departure with unforgettable experiences from the wild.
